One shopping list for the whole flat
A shopping list that everyone you share your budget with can add to and tick off, so the grocery run gets planned once instead of three times over text.
From the ideas board: a shopping list that is shared with the people you already share your budget with. If you have invited a partner or a flatmate to see your budget, they can add to the list and tick things off, and so can you. Nobody else can see it.
How it works
- Add something with an optional quantity. It shows up for everyone on the list straight away.
- Tick it in the aisle. When the list is shared, each item says who added it and who ticked it, which settles the "I thought you were getting milk" conversation.
- Done shopping? Copy the ticked items as one line to paste into the note on the transaction, then clear them.
If you have not shared your budget with anyone yet, the list still works as your own, and the moment you share it becomes theirs to edit too.
