Your week in numbers, every Monday morning
A short Monday email: last week's spending against the week before, your top categories, income received, any budgets over pace, and the bills due this week. Only when you recorded something.
The second-most-voted idea on the board is live. Every Monday morning, one short email with last week in numbers:
- What you spent, and whether that is more or less than the week before.
- Your three biggest categories.
- Income that came in.
- Any category budget that is over pace, or nearly.
- How many recurring bills land in the coming week.
It never quotes a balance or a "safe to spend" figure. Those depend on things the email cannot know at 7am, so it sticks to what you recorded.
Only when there is something to say
If you did not record a single transaction last week, no email. A "you spent $0" message is how a useful nudge becomes one people switch off.
It is on by default, and the switch is on the Recurring page under Weekly summary, next to the monthly summary and bill reminders. Every email carries a line telling you where to turn it off.
